Southern Hub Committees and Contact Information
In 2006, the Allegheny County Democratic Committee was reorganized to be more effective and to increase communication with its members. Accordingly, the local committees were organized into geographic districts. The MTLDC was assigned to the Southern District of the County Party.
Since the reorganization, the committees that make up the Southern District, more affectionately referred to as the Democratic Southern Hub, hold quarterly meetings where the leadership of the committees meet to discuss such as shared campaigns, joint initiatives, and party building.
Mt Lebanon is joined in the Southern Hub by the following Democratic Committees - Scott, Green Tree, Bethel Park, Upper St Clair, South Park, Whitehall, Castle Shannon, Baldwin, Brentwood, Baldwin Township and Dormont. All of the Hub committees are dedicated to electing strong democratic candidates and to providing an opportunity for all like-minded Democrats to get involved in the fight for our shared values.
