I have been a Mt. Lebanon resident for 17 years, and I strongly believe in giving back to the community. First elected as a Mt. Lebanon Commissioner in 2013, I currently serve as the Commission’s Vice-President. In addition, I serve as the Commission’s liaison to the Parks Board, Library Board and Community Relations Board. In previous years, I served as the liaison to the Parking Facilities Board, and the Pension Investment Board. I am currently running for re-election as the Commissioner for the 2nd Ward.
In addition to my service as a Mt. Lebanon Commissioner, I served on the Pension Investment Board for six years, and was its chairperson for four years. I have been a coach for the Mt. Lebanon Girls Softball Association for 7 years, and I am currently a sponsor of that organization. I am finishing my term as the Treasurer of the Veteran’s Breakfast Club, an organization that collects oral histories of our military veterans, and am a past Treasurer of the SMC Business Council. I was also a member of the Mt. Lebanon Tax Study Commission.
My wife, Laurey, and I have been married for 22 years, and we are members of Temple Emanuel of the South Hills. We have three wonderful daughters: One is a Mt. Lebanon High School graduate who is currently in college, one is a senior at Mt. Lebanon High School, and one attends Mellon Middle School.
I am the Controller, VP Purchasing and Co-Owner of a local manufacturing company, General Wire Spring Company. I received an MBA in Management Planning and Control from George Washington University in 1985, and a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Rochester in 1983.
